Rachel Most ’18

Rachel Most is a senior at St. Mary’s Academy. She is actively involved in singing at her synagogue, Model United Nations, and horseback riding. Rachel is passionate about photography and journalism. As Co-Editor in-Chief, Rachel is eager to spend time writing with her “Quill” staff this year.

Meaghan Miner ’18

Born at the Littleton Hospital, Meaghan  has always lived in Colorado with her younger brother Tommy. Before she came to St. Mary’s, she attended the k-8 STEM school American Academy in Castle Pines which gave her an appreciation for the sciences and writing. When Meaghan isn’t corralling her lab puppy, she enjoys hiking, reading, rowing, and writing. Creative puns are always welcome.

Charlotte Dean ’18

Charlotte was born and raised Denver, Colorado and attended East High SChool before transferring Junior year to SMA. She likes to spend her free time with friends and with family. Charlotte also enjoys being outdoors specifically being in the mountains of Evergreen Colorado. She is incredibly fascinated with psychology and the behavioral patterns of people.

Maddie Sanders ’18

Maddie Sanders is so excited to be a member of the Quill! She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and is in her ninth year at St. Mary’s Academy. Maddie has a variety of different interests but is passionate about journalism, history, and politics. She has played the bass for nine years and the cello for two and has been a member of the school orchestra since she was in 3rd grade. When Maddie isn’t at school, she enjoys reading, traveling, writing short stories, and spending time with her friends and family.

Siena Rohan ’18

Siena Rohan, is currently a senior and just transferred into St. Mary’s. Writing has always been a way for her to get through to people and she believes it can bring people closer. She started a poetry club in Peru to help kids fight depression and was also the head of the creative writing club in St. George’s Ascot. She has always had a passion for writing, and I hope she can use that passion to make this year’s addition of the Quill the best yet.

Clara Schroepfer ’20

Clara Schroepfer was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She is in her sophomore year at St. Mary’s Academy. A creative writer at heart, she joined the Quill in her Freshman year to broaden her perspective as a writer. She is currently working on a series of fantasy novels and hopes to be a published author by age 21. Clara spends her free time reading, writing, listening to music, and walking her dog.

Alexis Tiryakioglu ‘20

Alexis was born in Washington D.C., but she moved here at four months old, and has lived here ever since. She is in her sophomore year at SMA, and has been at SMA since kindergarten. In addition the Quill, she is also on the yearbook staff, Mock Trial, and is joining Model UN this year. Outside of school she enjoys doing ballet, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.

Lizzie Cave ’20

A native of Colorado, Lizzie lived in Denver for nearly all of her life.  Before she entered St. Mary’s high school, she attended Montessori School of Denver, which gave her an appreciation for science and a love for writing.  When she has free time, Lizzie enjoys playing video games, reading, and writing her fantasy story.
